If you’re planning a Minecraft birthday party, the decorations are where you can really have some fun bringing the Minecraft world to life! And the best part? You don’t need to spend a fortune on store-bought decorations to make your party look amazing. For our Minecraft party, I made a bunch of DIY decorations inspired by the game—from Minecraft blocks and Creepers to TNT and other fun details that made the whole party feel like we had stepped right into the Minecraft world.
I was in charge of the Trunk or Treat for our church community this year and I wanted to share what I learned from putting that event together. The beauty of these events is that they are pretty easy to pull together and such a blast for the kiddos. Even though it started pouring rain in the middle of ours, I think the kiddos all had a good time. And what’s a little sacrifice to make the candy taste that much sweeter 🙂 ?

When my son told me he wanted a Minecraft-themed party for his 9th birthday, I have to admit I was not thrilled. My husband and I had the opportunity to celebrate 20 years of marriage in Costa Rica this past January, and it was so dreamy.
