Every year for our primary program we like to give each primary child 2 invitations. With the invitations we give the challenge that they use at least one of the invitations to invite a non-member. This can be a friend, teacher, coach, neighbor, cousin- whatever! I think its a great missionary opportunity for the little ones, and we can all learn from their unabashed courage!
Our primary program is approaching so I sat down to make our invitations today and hopefully they will be useful for some of you out there as well. There are 2 different versions you can choose from depending on how much you want to customize it yourself. Here is what our finished invite looks like:
It is sized as a 4X6 and I will have them printed at walmart (because they give you free envelopes!). So just pick which invitation you would like to use, download it, open it in an editing program (like picmonkey or picasa) and add the text you would like, save as a jpeg and upload to walmart photo.com (or your photo place of choice). Unfortunately I am not able to help wards customize their invitations for them as that would take me forever and I am pretty backlogged on actual primary and mom stuff I need to do 😉 . Good luck, I wish you all the best with your programs!
These coordinate with my 2016 Binder Covers which you can find here.
Thank you for sharing all of your primary things. I just became the primary president last year and this is so very helpful for me as a newbie!
Make that last month – not year!
I’m glad you could find something useful here! Good luck in primary Joyce 🙂
What font did you use for the date and address? Thanks these are a lifesaver!
Hi Elisa! I used the fonts Wednesday and Penelope Anne. You can get them for free from dafont.com
Thank you so much for these! I just got put in as Primary Secretary a couple of weeks ago and this has helped tremendously! I always appreciate when people with awesome creative talent share with people like me who lack in that area 🙂
Hah I dont know about awesome creative talent! But I have learned my way around photoshop over the years. Thanks for your kind words Erin!
Could you please share the name of the text styles that you used in your beautiful invite so that I may try to match them in the portion where I will customize our message? Thank you!
Hi there! I used Penelope Anne, Wednesday & Sketchy. I think all can be found on dafont.com. Hope that helps!
Love it, thanks! And thanks for the source and names for the fonts you used. I love that mine looks uniform like yours does. Awesome!
Thanks for stopping by Erin- super cute blog you have!
