I’m a big scrapbooker and love to capture a little of of my kids on their last day of school. Of course this doesn’t have to be done exactly on the last day of school, any time during the first week of summer is a great time for them to sit down and fill this out (and great summer writing practice too!). If they aren’t great at reading and writing yet you can either ask them the questions and then write down what they say, or have them fill out the parts they can and you fill out the rest.… Read the rest

This year, thanks to COVID we decided to go with the theme, “It’s been a WILD year.” And from there we used hiking, camping and adventure as our inspiration to spoil our teachers (all on a small budget) for Teacher Appreciation Week. I think this can easily be adapted to use every year. I mean, since when are kids NOT wild, right? I’ve got the perfect gift idea for teachers this year! It goes along perfectly with the crash and burn that has been 2020. Pair it with some cute hot cocoa tins (I found these at Costco, but found them on amazon here), a coffee shop gift card, or a nice thermos/mug!
You could always pair the hot cocoa tin with a gift card as well. I’m pretty sure you can’t go wrong with a gift card.
I’ll have my kids write their teacher’s name and their name on the back of the tag.… Read the rest
