free fondue printables, perfect for valentines day, galentines day or any girls night!

We got the chance to throw a surprise party for a dear friend lately. It had me reminiscing about all the surprise parties in my days. I actually could only recall one- it was one I had thrown for my husband not longer after we were married. Got me thinking, we should do more surprise parties! They are so much fun!

Anyway, we kept it pretty simple: Just fondue, my favorite party game (Telestrations, have you played??)  and lots of chatting.  Since it was a girls get-together, and close to Valentine’s Day, it kind of doubled as a Galentine’s Get Together and I made printables to go along with that theme.… Read the rest

Free Printable Teacher Valentine Gift Tags

I found these adorable water bottles at walmart and instantly knew I wanted to create a free printable to go along with them!  I actually made two versions, one for valentines day (as that is quickly approaching) and one generic appreciation tag that can be used any time of the year! (like the first or last day of school or during teacher appreciation week).

I’m a fan of useful gifts for teachers, like gift cards and hey- water bottles! I’ve been volunteering in the classroom before when a teacher was opening all the christmas gifts the children had brought and I was blown away at some of the choices!… Read the rest

Free Printable Slinky Valentines Cards

1 / 26 / 171 / 31 / 23

Some fun free printable valentine cards for you today.  Just print, cut, attach slinky, have your child sign them, and you are set to go! I found our heart shaped slinkys in the valentines aisle at walmart for $1.98/12.  I wanted to keep cost down so I was happy with about $4 per class.  I wasn’t sure what my boys would think about them, so when I got home I broke them out to see their reaction.  They all begged to have one just to look at for a minute and then played with them for over 30 minutes until Dad took them off to baseball sign ups. … Read the rest

Free Printable Valentines Banner

free printable valentines banner all you need is love

I’m going to be honest with you: about half of our Christmas decorations are still up.  I know, I think I’m going to be shunned from the blogging community seeing as I’m supposed to be photographing and blogging about Easter right about now.  Will you still be my friend?

So why am I posting a valentines banner instead of putting away my Christmas decorations? Excellent question.  Don’t tell the hubby 😉

In any case its free to download, so you really can’t loose here.

I did use some hot pink cardstock to back the banner to give it a little more pop. … Read the rest

How to Train Your Dragon Free Valentines Cards

*THIS POST MAY CONTAIN AFFILIATE LINKS*

So my kids are big fans of the How to Train Your Dragon movies.  And now that we have discovered the original Netflix series based off of the movies, I dare say they are obsessed. So I called Oldest into the office and we brainstormed some ideas for valentines day cards.  This is what we came up with- what do you think?

I made two versions because in some cases its a lot easier to not have a “to” and just have your child sign all the valentines and hand them out to whomever.  But there are both options for whatever rocks your boat 😉

Some ideas on what to do with these after you print them on cardstock (FYI I like to use white backgrounds when I plan on using my own printer, ya know, since ink cartridges cost an arm and a leg):

Your on fire valentine:  Attach “hot tamales” with double sided tape (or any “hot” candy)

I hope this candy doesn’t leave you toothless: staple jawbreakers to the back

May our friendship last like a good hiccup: punch a hole with a hole puncher and slip a lollipop through it

Any other ideas out there?… Read the rest
