Hey Friends! It’s my 12th wedding anniversary today. Pretty exciting. I think we are headed to take the boys to Star Wars as soon as my hubby gets off work to celebrate! The glamorous life of parenthood! Hopefully we’ll get a chance to properly celebrate at some point 😉 In the mean time I am hurriedly getting primary things prepared for the new year! Today I got our door signs done and I made a blank template for you to use as well! I find that it helps reduce chaos for the first few weeks, and is also really helpful when you have visitors.… Read the rest

They’re here! Sorry for bringing them to you in the 11th hour. That’s how I roll lately. My hubby is currently out of town and I tell ya what- 4 boys, 3 cats and 1 dog is a bit much for me to handle on my own. Especially considering I am REALLY not an animal person. Anyhow, I am so excited to bring you sharing time assignment STICKERS this year! Yes, just peel them off and slap them on the kiddos! Of course if you prefer you can still print on cardstock and punch holes and tie yarn to make a necklace.… Read the rest
I’ve started work on all things Primary 2018. First up: Binder covers. They are simple and focus on the message, I hope you like them! Next up: sharing time assignment cards (I have a special surprise for you this year, I think you are really going to love it!).
I also have it available in a 8.5X11 and 11X14 size poster. I skipped adding class names to the binder covers because…
- it takes forever
- 80% (I made that up) of primaries have custom split or combined classes anyway
- It’s SO easy for you to do yourself! Just download the JPEG, open in any photo editing software (if you don’t have one use a free one like picmonkey) and add the text.
Well, the Gratitude & Service Lunchbox Challenge was a good experience for our family! There were definitely a lot of “I forgot”s and “whoops, I didn’t do it”s but we kept plugging along and we did have a few awesome things come of it. One day Oldest came home and said that “charlie” had been bullying someone on the playground and made them cry. He went over to see if they were OK and then invited them to play with him. Hurray! So hey, I’m gonna chalk that up as a win. If you did the lunchbox challenge with your kids I would love to hear about it!… Read the rest

Ok friends, this is very exciting stuff around here. My “little” investigator of 8 years is getting baptized! I can’t believe I have an almost-8-year-old. I’ll admit I feel a huge burden and sense of anxiety as to whether I’ve done my part in preparing him for this event these last 8 years. Baptism is a big step, and not one to be taken lightly! I want him to be very clear on what he’s getting himself into, and prepared to keep the covenant he is making with his Heavenly Father.… Read the rest
