I think it’s a nice gesture to bring a gift for the teacher on the first day of school. But I’ll be honest, that day is a bit overwhelming for me and adding one more thing to my plate might make my head pop off. I was feeling a little bad about not sending something this year until it dawned on me that the end of the first week is REALLY when teachers probably need a little pick me up and appreciation. That first week is rough. On everyone! So I looked around on Pinterest to see if there was a cute quick tag I could print out, but I couldn’t find anything! So here you are, if you find yourself in the same boat wanting to show the teachers a little love at the end of the first week, here’s your tag! And it’s free. I left a little space at the bottom of the tag for your child to write their name or a little note. It works best if you print it on cardstock and feel free to tag me @partylikecherry in your photos! I love to see how you use these free printables.
I don’t think it really matters what it is, just something to send a message, “I see you, your job is stinkin’ hard, and you made it through an important milestone!” But chocolate usually is a winner. That’s what I would want, after a long hard week!
