As part of the theme “I know the scripture are true” the Friend magazine is highlighting a scripture hero each month. We put a clue in our primary mailbox each week and on the last week of the month that hero come to visit us in our time machine.
For June we will be highlighting Abish. I have to admit, I thought to myself “Abish?!” After learning who she was, however, I realized I knew her story, but I guess I had forgotten her name. I love that even though I teach children in my calling, I still learn all the time. And I am SO excited to feature a WOMAN scripture hero!! I think it is so fantastic to give all our little girls someone to look up to 🙂
