Let’s talk about all the food from our Space party! Fruit kabab rockets, rock candy, shooting star cupcakes, an “out of this world” spread. If you missed the other posts about our space party they are link below.
Now it’s time to tackle the food!
Main Course Space Party Food
I kept it pretty easy and only actually had to assemble one thing for our main course! I call that a win. We served:
- Planet Pizza (i.e. regular pizza)
- Sun Chips
- Capri Sun (notice a theme?)
I figured we needed something healthy to balance everything else out 😉 I also came up with the idea, for which I was fairly proud, to call it the Meteor-Bite Cafe…..get it? Instead of Meteor-ite??? *pats self on back* We called it Miles’ Meteor-Bite Cafe, but I made a generic one you can download in my space party pack.

Space Party Dessert Table
The dessert table was made up of:
- Rock candy (I went for blue because it looked the most space-y to me)
- Star cupcakes (by my talented mother in law)
- my letter board
- silver sparkly ribbon
- emergency blanket for tablecloth
- figurine astronauts & Lego Astronauts
- Rocket ship cake (also by my amazing mother in law!)
Space Party Printable Pack
The printable space party pack includes 6 printables to help you throw your out of this world space adventure party! It includes the Meteor Bite Cafe 8X10 printable, favor bag toppers, a 16X20 NASA poster, Jet pack labels, 8X10 happy birthday sign, and cupcake toppers. The cupcake toppers are designed to be printed on these 2 1/2 inch round sticker labels. But you can print them on regular paper or card stock as well.

I think Saku would have loved this type of party a few years ago!! Your talent doesn’t surprise me but it is still impressive:)
Is he too cool for this type of thing now? Cameron I think would still love something like this. Although I don’t know because he always chooses camping instead of a party. I guess that should tell me something. But he is always so excited whenever I throw a party for his brothers!
How did you stop the bananas turning brown?
Also have the question how to keep the bananas from turning brown?
I think a little lemon juice helps, but mostly we just waited until right before I think?
