I think it’s a nice gesture to bring a gift for the teacher on the first day of school. But I’ll be honest, that day is a bit overwhelming for me and adding one more thing to my plate might make my head pop off. I was feeling a little bad about not sending something this year until it dawned on me that the end of the first week is REALLY when teachers probably need a little pick me up and appreciation.
