If you have a Minecraft-loving kid, this DIY Minecraft Trunk or Treat is such a fun way to bring the game to life for Halloween! The best part about our setup is that I didn’t actually make most of it specifically for trunk or treat—I repurposed the Minecraft characters, blocks, and decorations I had already made for my son’s Minecraft birthday party. With a little rearranging (and a few Halloween touches), they worked perfectly to transform our trunk into a colorful, pixelated Minecraft world.

I was in charge of the Trunk or Treat for our church community this year and I wanted to share what I learned from putting that event together. The beauty of these events is that they are pretty easy to pull together and such a blast for the kiddos.
