I am finally getting around to sharing the food & drink labels I made for Oldest’s Cops & Robbers birthday party. They would be a great addition to any police or law-enforcement themed party. For the “mug shots” labels I wrapped them around glass bottles (recycled from that sparkling juice at Costco- yum yum) and filled them with mug root beer of course. Add a black & white striped paper straw and you are good to go.
On the menu at our police party was:
- Hamburglers (hamburgers)
- Tossed in Jail Fruit Salad (exciting name for a regular fruit salad)
- Cop corn (kettle corn from costco- yum yum…notice a costco theme?

Well, after putting in an embarrassing number of hours on my sons 5th Cops & Robbers birthday party it all came down to the weather forecast, which I checked ceaselessly the week leading up to the event. Sure enough the foreboding 50% chance of rain went up to 60%, and then 70%… the night before it said 90% and it was time for plan B.
