I updated the popular Light the World lunchbox challenge this year to adapt it to the new theme “one by one”. I only made 16 cards since that’s about how many school days most kids will have in December (I believe ours have 14). You can put these in your child’s lunchbox each day (as the name suggests) and some of the things are meant for them to do right there at school. But some things (even though I tried to make it mostly independent) will need a little parental help. With all the changes in primary this year I was very surprised the handbook called for there to continue to be a “Primary Presentation.” With the shortened sacrament meeting, no sharing time manual or lessons, and less time for talks each week in Primary, we are simplifying our program big time for our ward!… Read the rest

I’ve had a few of you tell me you’ve used my newsletters in the past and wanted a new one for 2019, so here we go! If you don’t already do a monthly newsletter, the new year is a great time to start! I updated the newsletter from last year to coordinate with our new binder covers, posters, sharing time assignment cards and door signs.

The assignment stickers were such a big hit last year I had to bring them back again! These coordinate with our Binder Covers, Door Signs, and Bulletin Board printables all currently available (and for free!).
Just print them on 3 1/3″ X 4″ shipping labels (these are the ones I use), peel them off and slap them on the kiddos! Of course if you prefer you can still print on cardstock and punch holes and tie yarn to make a necklace.… Read the rest
